Why Video?

Edible Bouquets is my wife and daughters business and this is a video I produced of their business for their website. This video was uploaded by me to YouTube.com and other Video sites. When viewed on YouTube some will visit their website, giving greater exposure of their business.

This one video clip shows, without voice over, exactly what they do. So when someone visits their website this video is on the front page. The rest of their website shows the range of products they offer.

I have been producing on-line videos throught 2008. I suggested to my wife and daughter that they should have a video of their business on their website. I am not a website designer and did not design their website. My part was to produce the video of their business and I embeded it on their website. I have gained a great deal of knowledge in how to improve a websites position in regard to search engines, like Google, over the past few years and I therefore have spent some time improving their website ranking as well as my sons website. During this time I have found that online video is a growing medium and will enhances your website visitors experience. Not only that but Google and other search engines love video and will improve your website ranking so long as you spend the time on keywords and description information when you upload the video.

This second video is a short video of my sons new business. The website which I produced has only been live since August 2008. I added the video in September 2008.

These two snap shots of Google searches show the ranking of Edible Bouquets and Jet-a-Drive, my sons website. Edible Bouquets is Google page ranked N.o 1 out of 380,000 sites and Jet a Drive is Google page ranked No 2 out of 30,000,000 sites, at the time of writing this. The main reason they are ranked on the first page is the fact they both have video embeded in their websites. Also I have optimized their websites for the search engines.
